So, I've lost officially 15 pounds since (embarrassingly enough) restarting my exercise routine about a month and a half ago. I have a hard time seeing the results sometimes, but anything works, right? As long as I'm not gaining fat (I would say weight, but muscle is weight too, so sometimes I don't like going by the scale) I think I'm doing well! I've cut out sugar and most meat. I get a lot of protein and eat lots and lots of greens. I've seriously become obsessed with spinach and cottage cheese with tomatoes. It's so summery and so delicious! Not to mention bananas. I'm pretty sure I eat my weight in bananas every week (only a slight exaggeration). So, that's my progress so far! I'll try and update more often and hopefully meet my goals! Oh ya, I finally got the 21 minute 3 mile!! I was so excited! I sure do love running :)

A New Beginning

Well, as my first post I'm going to start off with my starting weight and goal weight and also a starting picture.  Posting this picture isn't something that I look forward to doing because it forces me to look at myself and see the things that I try to ignore, and it also allows other people to see, but I think this may be the incentive I need to carry through with my goal.

Starting weight: 160 lbs.
Goal weight: 130 lbs.
